My opinion:
I guess I won't worry about getting Call of the Tinkerer now. I think both of my accounts are now over the "6 year" accumulated time mark. I haven't checked the 2nd account (it was started a few months after launch.. my original was started launch day, that's the one Rijacki, Rjack, Severni, etc are on).
It will be nice to have a tradeskill version of the orb, I guess. Though it IS a lot easier to level in tradeskilling even without it.
Appearance items.... yet another cloak.. and a hat that will take off all my hair *shrug*

The teleporter actually has two functions. First it summons a portal that only you can see. Right-clicking the portal gives you two options. One option is to port to a group member anywhere in the world. The second option is to summon a group member from anywhere in the world to your location. Once you use an option the portal goes away. I think the recast time on it is 60 minutes.
Yes, this works across zones and yes it works in dungeons. A player must meet the requirements for the zone before they can be summoned to you. So this means they have to have access to the zone and can't possess a lockout timer for another instance of that zone. Our goal with the summoning ability was to allow veterans to share the "coolness" of this item with other players that might not have it yet.
Yes, the feature was a PITA to create. We hope you like it though. SMILEY

In their defense, how do you follow an act like the 5-year reward? 100% adventure vitality every week is about as bad ass as it gets. I do like the idea of the the Call of the Veteran, once more people have it, it should make life much easier. No moar cloaks plz :/.
How about being able to start a character at 50/51? I'd like that :D
