Acting as liason to the Avalon Healers Union of Avalon (AHUA for short) I propose the following resolutions drafted by our legal counsel for the 09-10 Raiding season. Agreed upon tenets subject to change at the discretion of the union.
1. Any healer related strats will be subject to review by the Union and agreed to or disagreed with. If a strat is disagreed with, AHUA does not need to provide an alternative strategy, this is the responsibility of the leadership of the guild.
2. Any raid wipes will be the responsibility here in of the raid leader(s). Healers will never be blamed for raid wipes even if their actions are directly responsible.
3. Raid Members are responsible for curing their own detriments. If a healer so choses, they may remove their group cure from their hotbar. Healers are only responsible for curing curses.
4. Raid members with chokers must first ask the healers of the group whether or not they may use the choker. The choker user must then pay at 5p tax to ask the question to each healer in the group. Regardless of whether the healers allow it or not (to be allowed, they need a unanonymous descision), the healers keep the 5p
5. Anytime a healer asks for a group in guild chat, all members with tanks must present themselves for a position in the group. The only time a tank, or person with a tank alt does not need to present themselves is if they are currently grouped with a member of the AHUA.
6. Dirges and Necromancers are responsible for ressurecting. At no time is it necessary for a healer to cast a res on a downed player. If there are no Necromancers or Dirges, a healer may choose to resurrected a downed ally, but the ally should plan on reviving and running back to the raid.
7. Joustable AoE damage may be selectively healed by healers, but is not necessary. The player should be responsible to get out of the way of the AoE. This also applies to frontals and ripostes
8. At no time will a healer be publically called out, or spoken to by a non-union member or raid leader. Any and all dialog between a non-union member and a union member will be done through a mediator or representative selected by the AHUA
9. If at any time, a union member believes that anything that a person says, whether in raid, group, guild, tells, or ventrillo, is deemed unhelpful, distracting, or moronic, that person may not speak again until the end of the raid.
10. If at any time, a union member believes that anything a person does, is deemed unhelpful, distracting, or moronic, that person must pay union dues, in an amount correlating with the level of unhelpfulness, distractingness, or moronicness. The player will then be, subsequently, removed from the raid.
11. Any guild member that decides to date Salurto's roomate, will be exempt from all rules until the union decides otherwise.
12. Hate transfers will NEVER be put on members of the AHUA. We are not your threat depository
13. If you ask a AHUA member to join a group, and they accept, they become the leader of that group and can determine loot options or instances that group will run.
14. AHUA members hold a required raid attendence of 20%. If they, at any time, hold an attendence above 20%, they receive a 100% bonus to gained XP and only use 50% of DKP whenever winning an item bid.
15. All raid group setups must be agreed upon by the AHUA. If the AHUA dislikes the group formations, they can choose the formations that they would like instead.
